Feeder Screw

Hot start conditioner (TCS)
A closed, insulated and heated mixing chamber, in which a mixture is heated with dry steam by a shaft which can rotate in two directions. Generously sized paddles, adjustable in both height and pitch, create a homogeneous mixture and a hygienic process. Two PT 100 temperature sensors register the preset temperature after which the electro-pneumatically controlled flap of the outlet is opened.
Retention Time Barrel (RTB)
After the homogeneous mixing in of steam in a conditioner the product remains, during a preset length of time, in this heated and insulated retention time barrel. After the retention time barrel the product can be further treated in a pellet mill, extruder or meal cooler. The thermal treatment of the product results in an easier operation of the pellet mill, which simultaneously results in an improved pellet quality.
BOA compactor
Specially for obtaining hard pellets PTN supplies the BOA compactor, which is characterised, among other things, by relatively low energy consumption (compared to expanding and double presses).
Remote Roller Adjustment
PTN’s patented remote roller adjustment, in which hydraulic precision is combined with mechanical stability, increases the efficiency and simplifies the adjustment of the rollers during production. The eccentric roller shafts, in combination with the remote roller adjustment, extend the lifetime of dies and roller shells by up to 15%
Steam dosing set
Adding steam to the production process for animal feeds improves the compressibility (an increase in the press capacity of 20% is no exception) and the condition of the laying mash, among other things. Steam inactivates micro-organisms while the sensory properties (including aroma, taste and texture) of the product mix are retained.

Counterflow cooler
New product is continuously fed into the bin through the inlet valve. By drawing air through a product layer which is variable in height the product is cooled. Smooth discharging of cooled product into the hopper is ensured by the discharge system.
Double Decks Coolers
As single deck cooler, but in addition; An intermediate deck and the second bin. In normal operation, the intermediate deck is open, while the cooler is working like the single deck version.
Roller Mill HE
