 Retention Time
Barrel
To achieve a very long retention time in combination
with a high temperature, PTN developed the Retention Time Barrel.
Better feed quality and elimination of bacteria will be achieved by
operating at critical temperatures and extended retention times.
Product description:
The RTB is a heavy-duty
construction, fabricated mainly from stainless steel, including the
housing, main shaft and the rotor blades.
The RTB body consists of composite panels. Comprising of electrical
tracing to increase temperature control and insulation to decrease heat
loss and is finished with a resilient stainless steel outer cover.
The required retention time can be predetermined and is adjustable up to
a maximum operating capacity. The flow of the meal being conditioned is
on a "first in - first out" basis.
