 Boa Compactor
One of PTN's famous machines is the BOA Compactor. It
improves your feed quality in combination with a much higher capacity.
This is a super conditioning machine which is placed before a
pelletmill. It is possible to add liquids like fat, water, molasses,
vinasses and to add steam on the mixing part of the Boa Compactor. In
the front side of the machine the mechanical friction takes place to
reach a good homogenous product before it comes to the pelletmill.
Product description:
The BOA Compactor is built as a mixing unit
followed by a compacting chamber. The mixing unit is a double wall (insulating)
constructed cylindrical chamber with inlets for the addition of steam
and liquids.
From the thermical pretreatment, the
material is taken into the compacting chamber for the addition of mechanical
energy through the large frictionrings and the pressure rollers. The
conical gab opening secures an optimal addition of energy combined
with extremely low wear.
The strong main shaft with rotating compactor head is fixed in large
bearings, which gives a very stable run. For uniform idle pressure the
distance between the compactor rollers and the gab can be adjusted.
To regulate the gab opening and time in frictionrings the ring
fixing unit is provided with 3 hydraulic cylinders. The distance is
monitored constantly in each cylinder and is read on the display of
the manual control box.
The mainmotor is 1000 rpm or for the 700 also 2x 1500.
